2021 USC

Kyle and I drive down, completely stuffing the car, while ML flies down to meet us. We temporarily move into the JW Marriott downtown. Kyle and I go exploring LA while waiting for move-in day: we walk to a Korean ping pong club, eat street tacos, visit the Getty, ride the roller coaster on Santa Monica pier, and eat a burger on 3rd St Promenade.

We go to USC a day early to orient ourselves. We find his dorm in The Village and eat lunch at the awesome Cava. I'm amazed there's both a Target and a Trader Joes in The Village. So lucky!!

When ML arrives, we go down to USC to visit Kyle's cousins.

Big day comes, and we move Kyle into his spacious dorm. It comes with a full kitchen, which Kyle uses a few days later to make dinner for his roommates.

We attend Convocation. Nice speeches welcoming the students to the Trojan family. Fight on! ML finally gets her picture with Kyle in a robe, since we didn't get one at Punahou.

We're now officially empty nesters!
