2019 NYE

We celebrated NYE in SF at our members-only club The Modernist with our friends, all of whom we met in Shanghai. Interesting how of all of our friends in the Bay Area, it's only the expats who came.

Good food, great drinks, and a very intimate affair. It was a great way to end 2019.

ML and I ended up going to Steve and Albert's huge NYE party at The Westin afterwards, where we danced to a live band playing 80's rock music. A good way to ring in 2020.

We had a fun Christmas gift exchange with the Wong family. The kids get so many gifts these days! All of us parents worry about our kids growing up entitled, but we're the pushers.
