We invested in this unique product and super couple Kelleigh & Brandon.
I had actually first tasted the product at the Four Seasons @ Kona and thought it was amazing. I called the number on the back of the bar to buy some as gifts for my friends in CA (who love gifts from HI) but the person on the line (turned out to be Kelleigh, the owner) said they couldn’t sell me any. Why not? They literally didn’t make enough. On a whim, I asked to invest, and eventually, we became business partners.
I’m thrilled we have resolved the production issue, and we even revamped the packaging. As you can see in their About Us, they are a very authentic couple. Brandon is the farmer, and Kelleigh is naturally talented on social media: Instagram, Facebook. They actually won the Big Island Business Plan competition as well!
Like the judges in the HI Plan competition, I believe this product has a huge potential in the travel retail and artisan confectionary market, not only due to its unique taste but also because of its Hawaiian brand.
