Alan did a quick visit in Hawaii during 10/10, the traditional Taiwanese remembrance of Sun Yat Sen in Chinatown, to see Kyle before his France river cruise.  In California, the Napa fires caused hazy skies even down in the S. Bay. 

Alan's mom came out to CA a few days in advance of the river cruise.  We had dinners with Susan's family in a Sichuan restaurant, and then with the Wong family at Hong Fu.
