After our whirlwind summer, we have settled back down into our beautiful home / life in Singapore. We're still exploring our newly adopted country. Below captures some of the beauty and diversity of Singapore. Kyle and I went to Sentosa's water park Adventure Cove a couple of times before our annual pass expired. ML and I went on several dates - dim sum lunch at the gorgeous Intercontinental hotel after our Meditation Made Simple class, enjoying the East Coast Parkway's long pathway for bike riding and rollerblading, and a staycation at Marina Bay Sands with a fabulous steak dinner at Wolfgang Puck's CUT. Alan found beach volleyball at Sentosa near the sizzling Tanjong Beach Club. Kyle's really into Ultimate Frisbee so we went to watch a local tournament.
We celebrated Kyle's 13th birthday with brownies. He loved his new Mi-Fi and Star Wars Essential Vehicles book.
Alan enjoyed his time off between jobs. He has left PayPal after 11 years of service and is joining Visa in October. He visited his friends in Shanghai, staying at the stellar Twelve at Hengshan, and then visiting his dad in Taiwan, staying at one of the best hotels in the world, the W Taipei. We went to Sun Moon Lake via the high speed rail. It was a beautiful trip with delicious food.
