While ML was in the states to celebrate her brother's twins' birthdays, Alan took Kyle to the new Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum, located in the renovated 110-year-old Nanshi Power Plant, which was the Urban Future Pavilion during the Shanghai Expo. We got on and off at a bunch of wrong metro stops before finally exiting the right one, South Xizang stop off Line 8. Then it was a mile walk to the museum. We got there with only an hour left before closing, but found out that pre-registration was required to get a ticket for entry! I finagled our way in by claiming, "We're from America!" Well, correct, I just didn't say we came 7 years ago. Like a typical "Daddy Adventure day," I completely exhausted Kyle dragging him through the entire museum, making him pose next to interesting exhibits, and not stopping until the museum closed.
