October Holiday - HK & Taiwan
We celebrated Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In HK,
we stayed at Tina's sweet service apartment overlooking the harbor. First
night we landed, we ate at the very cool
Hutong
restaurant, and then partied in LKF.
Next day, we went to the Disneyland hotel for brunch, and then enjoyed the
outdoor maze. We had dinner with ML's cousin's family; her cousin plays in
the HK rock band Tai Chi!
The next day was jam-packed with 5 different events with families and friends,
from Kowloon to Repulse Bay to Central back to Kowloon for the fireworks!
So exhausted.We then flew to Taiwan and stayed at the
Miramar Hotel. We ate very well with Alan's dad and stepmother,
shopped at 101, and watched the movie The Expatriate while dad watched Kyle
build his Ninjago lego toy. We also had a family dinner with Dad's younger
brother's family. The last night, we stuffed ourselves at an extremely
reasonable all-you-can-eat Japanese sushi/sashimi buffet. Yum!
