May 2012 - Weekend in Beijing - FACE hotel
Alan had meetings in Beijing Friday and Tuesday, so instead of flying home,
Mae-Ling and Kyle flew up. We used our free 2 night stay coupon at the
very cool boutique FACE
hotel in near the Worker's Stadium. While ML and Kyle went to watch
Devan and Jack's soccer tournament, Alan rode a bike around Tianamen Square, and
then up to HouHai. He had a wonderful Vietnamese lunch at
Nuage sitting in the little bike carriage. The next day, we had a
superb brunch with Gordon and Claire at the beautiful Capital M restaurant.
Then we toured 798 Art Zone. We had a good brunch at China Lounge, which
was right next to Face hotel.
