We celebrated Alan's mother's 70th birthday with a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. NCL cruise on the Pride of America. Food was good, especially the duck at the Jefferson Bistro. Lobster night was a bit of a disappointment. Alan loved the soft-serve ice cream at the buffet and the fish & chips at Cadillac Diner. The kids absolutely adored Kids Club and couldn't get enough of it. The entertainment wasn't as good as the
Disney Cruise but both Alan and Janet got pulled up on stage - mom for the magic show and Alan for the finale show. On Mom's birthday, Mae-Ling and Alan stayed on the ship and we played mah-jongg all day. Alan won the biggest hand of his life.We did go to shore in Kauai and visited our honeymoon resort The Grand Hyatt. In Maui, we went to the beach and had an awesome lunch at the Four Seasons. We also walked around the cute town of Lanai. The kids went to the Seahorse aquarium. We were graced with a beautiful rainbow as we went around the Napali Coast of Kauai.
