While ML went to the US for her birthday tour, Kyle and I flew business class on miles to Taiwan, direct flight from Pudong to Taipei.  Kyle liked the slippers.  My Dad and Auntie checked us into the Fullerton Hotel, and promptly brought us to Toys R Us to buy Kyle his toy.  He chose a big, expensive Lego set.  The next day, we visited Lung Men, where Alan and Susan spent several Taiwan summers at their maternal grandfather's apartment.  We also visited the Foreign Affairs building grandfather designed.  Then, we went to the Museum of Fine Arts and walked thru Richard Roger's architecture display.  Exhausted, we went to a cool mall and watched Kyle's first double header movie - Clash of the Titans, and Alice in Wonderland.  Of course, in between, we ate a lot and made grandpa tell lots of stories.  Kyle and Grandpa also sang the China National Anthem together.
