Waylaid from our original plans to go to Bali for Joy and Jamie's wedding, we ended up staying in HK and doing a short trip to Macau.  We tried to erase the pain of the failed Bali trip with an exorbitant dinner at the Four Seasons Japanese restaurant in the huge IWC mall. 

In Macau, we stayed one night at the Venetian and then moved to the old-style luxury Hotel Lisboa.  We walked around the empty Fisherman's Wharf, and toured the casino hotels Wynn and Mandarin Oriental.

Mae-Ling stayed in HK a few extra days to hang out with Toni and Bill.
