We resumed our busy Shanghai life in August.  ML helped "energize" Julianne's hen night, while Alan sulked with the boys at the new hot club of Shanghai Muse 2.  We had a delicious BBQ dinner at Fiona and Lucas' gorgeous apartment.  Alan graduated with honors from the Dewar's Academy of Whisky.  We celebrated Julianne & Johan's wedding at the Hilton.  We enjoyed Le Meridien's "definitive Sunday brunch" experience according to City Weekend - we agree with the adjective "definitive" - absolutely wonderful.  Then we checked into the Pudi Boutique Hotel right in the middle of Shanghai for our 2nd monthly getaway date.  We loved the chic room, getting a massage at ML's very own Diva Life spa, enjoying free drinks in the stylish member's only club area, then watching Casino Royale on the huge LCD TV at the foot of the bed.  ML hosted her almost-monthly Ladies' Luncheon at The Collection, new in Xintiandi.

Kyle's summer in Shanghai has been equally packed, attending swim camp at SRC, icamp at Children Technology Workshop, and Destination Imagination Workshop at our friends' Kidtown.
