June is the continuation of our busy Shanghai expat life. We went to the grand opening of ShiLe and enjoyed the beautiful building though we didn't quite get the business (private club/spa).
We have friends over for dinner about twice a week. Our awesome domestic helper (Ding Ding "ayi") whips up 7-8 dishes in a few hours, watches the kids while we eat, and then washes all the dishes.
ML stopped in HK to see Toni's baby Lauren, and visit a few good friends and relatives. She then flew onward to the US for her mom's birthday.
Kyle visits our friends' kidtown a few times a week so we have a lot of cute pics of the place. ML hosted another one of her famous lady luncheons at Naked Cow. We celebrated Keaton's 6 year old birthday party at City Diner. Then, we partied at Volar for Alan's very-early birthday party. We witnessed a Guinness Book of World Records event - BOTH Christina and Eugenia not only came but stayed past midnight!!!
