2006 - October

We kicked off the month with our trip to Bali for Chinese National Holiday.  When we got back, the weather was still great.  We enjoyed City Weekend's family day, and 2 Int'l school events.  We celebrated Peggy's "27th" birthday party at The Kitchen.  ML had a Spa night at Diva.  ML hung out with Christina's friend Sue almost every day when she was here visiting.  We said goodbye to Eric on his 40th birthday as he headed to Beijing for a new job.  We invited Tina & George and Gavine & Annette over for tacos and cards.  We oohed and ahhed at the Yen's new house.  ML hosted huang ying (welcome) for American Women's Club of Shanghai (last picture: Gangfeng Wang photographer taking the newbies around Shanghai - "Wow, look at the rubble!").  During weekends, we still party hard, like college students.  While ML went to Candy's hen night, Alan went with the guys to the Grey Goose launch party (see if you can find pics of Alan and JMX on stage), and then snuck into the opening of Club Volar, where they served up Veuve Clicquot as if it were out of style.  Of course we ended the month with Halloween!
