Angel Farewell party for Annie and Curtis, followed by the "Best Tai Tai lunch". We will miss them in Shanghai! Several Thanksgiving meals - ML's luncheon at the Four Seasons; Lisa and Karen's in a tent on Karen's lawn; Eugenia and Bennet's in their newly renovated house. Each fulfilling the purpose of this holiday - to eat lots of turkey, and give thanks for our friends, family and health. We started December off with a White Elephant gift exchange at MiCasa (Spanish Tapas) with Annette & Gavin, George & Tina, and a new couple for us, Winnie & Carl. We all pretended to be thrilled with our gifts (one family's junk...is another family's junk too!), but the half-filled bottle of Proactive had to have taken the cake!
