2006 - November

We take Kyle to the Shanghai Zoo on an absolutely beautiful day.  Huge park - great to enjoy some open space in Shanghai - but we were perturbed by the people constantly feeding the animals.  ML went to HK before her trip to Boracay, for Candy's wedding.  In our sunroom, Kyle enjoyed a fun art project of drawing the city.  Alan and Bennet went to the HSBC Golf Champions tournament and watched from 10 feet away Tiger tee off on hole 15 (too bad it was a horrible drive - maybe Bennet shouldn't have taken that picture...with the flash).  Check out the great Shanghai pic - it captures Shanghai so well.  The impressive yet gaudy Pearl Tower.  The sunny yet hazy day.  The super cool technology of a humongous LCD on a boat, advertising a buff naked guy, sponsored by Siemens.  My driver got us tickets for the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai.  We watched the semi-finals where the real game was played, between Federer and Nadal.  Awesome match.  Even more fun, Bennet and I convinced the Heineken beer guys to trade their green and black jacket for a real Master's shirt, because we liked their jacket's design better.
