Happy birthday to Kyle!  Guess what the theme was?  We had train tracks on our driveway to welcome the kids.  As they arrived, they got a ticket from our mailbox ticket booth, and their parents gave them a ride on the wagon train.  Dressed as conductors in our pinstripe overalls and caps, we welcomed the guests into our garage, where ML had several art activity stations set up - play doh, of course the train table, and make-your-own-dinner-train out of boxes.  When it was dinner time, Alan became the engine and rounded up all the kid-trains, connected by a long jump rope.  Over dinner, ML told the story of "Kyle and the 3 Trains", an adaptation of "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears."  Kyle got quite a stash of toys, which we are opening 1 a day.
