Happy birthday to Kyle! Wow, 2 already. I think this will be a recurring theme: surprise at how fast he's growing up. Felita and Chantal came up from LA and helped us decorate the "choo-choo" name tags. We celebrated at Wonderland (thanks to Kalika for the wonderful new design, and Kim and Allen for their speedy work getting the design into a real sign). Our friends Larry and Janey also had their son Connor's 2 year birthday party on the same day.
On Kyle's actual birthday, Alan took the day off, and we went up to Oakland's Children's Fairyland. Kyle had a super time, especially on the little trolley train. After dim sum in Oakland's Chinatown, we rushed back home for the neighborhood block party.
We'd also like to congratulate our best friends Bennet and Eugenia on the birth of their 2nd son Mathew.
