Believe it or not, Alan used to update this site almost weekly. Then again, he used to track expenses to the penny in Quicken, write in his journal nightly, and keep his house tidy. But alas, the demands of parenthood are not light. So here we are, 100+ pics for August.
Kyle is almost 2. Where has the time gone? As most of you know, he's very active, our little monkey. It's kind of ironic his Chinese name loosely translates to "standing mountain". He has started daycare with a wonderful woman Bonnie and his friend Alec.
Alan has crossed his 1 year anniversary with PayPal/eBay. He works with a great, young, energetic, super-smart team on the growth product for the company. What more can he ask for?
Mae-Ling is transitioning Keiki Place to Wonderland (www.wonderlandschool.com). The marketing isn't as slick as Keiki Place's (yet), but they have a full daycare/afterschool program running already. She also organized a wonderful outing at the park for her mommy group Las Madres (see Daffy Dave below).
We congratulate our friends Jenny and Albert on their twins. We wish Ed and Tina lots of love during these difficult first few months of their newborn Carter. We celebrated so many of Kyle's friends' birthdays that we can't recount them all here. ML had a great time at Zeene's babyshower. We witnessed Kathy and John's marriage by the ocean in Aptos. And we are so happy for our friends' Stanley and Jean's engagement. I'm probably missing 10 other events of significance, but I gotta go watch the finale of For Love Or Money. ML is a major reality-tv junkie. I just keeps her company.
