ML's aunt and uncle visited from Vancouver and loved seeing Kyle (even though you can't tell from the pictures).  Alan's mom swung by the area again, on her return from a 3 week trip in China, seeing the 3 Gorges before the dam floods the area.  We had an Open House for families that missed Keiki Place's Grand Opening.  Kyle now treats KP as his second home.

As you can see from this pic (02oct14_23), Kyle is starting to take a few steps before he decides he can crawl much faster.  He occasionally baby signs "more" with his hands (baby's motor skills develop faster than their verbal so teaching a baby to use sign language is a way of allowing them to communicate without having to speak yet).

Alan's enjoying his new Product Manager friends at PayPal.  We went to Deb's housewarming, and Alan realized he found the right company when after dinner, Deb whipped out Scattergories! 

Only a few days after having 4 wisdom teeth removed, Alan flew to Omaha where PayPal has its call center.  He ate great steak, and even took some home.  He stayed at Harrah's in Iowa's Council Bluffs and gambled on the river boat casino.
