Mae-Ling and Kyle flew down to LA for Chantal's 2nd birthday, held at the Disneyland Hotel. It was a super-fun party, with the awesome food, cake and party favors. It wouldn't be a Felita party without the extras: face-painting, Jules the musician, surprise visit and waltz by Beauty and the Beast, scrapbooking, and bingo game. Chantal looked so cute in her various princess outfits. But of course, Chantal's favorite birthday present was Kyle (see the last picture)!
Mae-Ling and Kyle stayed with Cheryl, Steven and Kyle's cousin Emme. Emme and Kyle were great playmates. ML was able to witness Emme's early days of walking.
ML and Kyle also visited Eric Zee, Ming-Na Wen, and their daughter Michaela (perhaps you've seen her in a Baby Gap ad). Her proud parents shaved her head for the Chinese myth that the new hair will be thicker and healthier. In the meantime, she can be the Chinese Sade.
Finally, ML visited a Mommy class for ideas for Keiki Place. Kyle loved the water station, splashing poor Emme all wet.
