We celebrated Father's Day, Alan's birthday, our Anniversary, and Kalika and Rodney's wedding in Hawaii. We stayed with Alan's mom for the first few days before we moved to our timeshare off Waikiki. Kyle loved grandma's dogs but not sure the dogs loved him back since he enjoyed pulling their hair. We visited Hanauma Bay where Kyle enjoyed eating the sand. It was hot and humid in Hawaii, so we have lots of pics showing us topless (Kyle and Alan that is) and asleep. We bid Bill and Toni goodbye as they headed off to Shanghai for Bill's new job. The week passed quickly with us just playing with Kyle in our timeshare apartment and walking around Waikiki (see pics of Diamond Head in the background as we walked through Kapiolani Park). Kyle loved the visit to the Hawaiian Child Discovery Museum. We also went to Sesame Street Live. Alan's mom threw a great birthday party with a beautiful Hawaiian cake and very fun mah-jongg. Alan was invincible, winning over a dozen hands and shocking the "old ladies" who are MJ pros, until midnight, when his luck ran out and he started returning all the chips he had won.
The vacation was capped off with Kalika and Rodney's amazing wedding.
