Wow, it's already February!  Kyle is now getting pretty good about sleeping when we put him down in the crib.  We find that very exciting.  It doesn't take new parents much to be excited.  Yet another first (lots of firsts as well for new parents) - Alan cut Kyle's hair!  Don't make fun of Kyle - it's not his fault.

Kyle enjoyed hanging out with his friend Keaton, who just learned how to sit upright by himself!  Also, we visited ML's good friend Michelle, visiting from Vancouver and newly married.  Then we celebrated Dave's birthday at a crowded restaurant Tiramisu.

The last picture is one of the last steps in the routine ML does every night to put Kyle to sleep.  The routine goes something like this: feed him, burp him, change his diaper, read a short baby book once or twice, bounce on the exercise ball in front of the mirror singing "Goodnight Kyle," put him into the crib, pull up his blankets, turn on his mobile, kiss him goodnight, pull up the crib guard, turn off the lights, close the door gently, and pray he goes to sleep soon!  Whew.
