·         Led innovative projects such as the development of an outsourced direct sales channel that contributed over 14% of Merchant Services’ revenues with 300 agents in 6 cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing)

·         Polished PayPal China’s brand by signing up top merchants in key verticals - such as 360Buy, VANCL, Ctrip, e-Long, RenRen, Shanda, Air China, YiHaoDian, LiNing – to build their overseas business.  Positioned PayPal as the cross-border e-commerce thought leader with a PayPal-led China conference attended by 700 SMEs, 13 partners, and 30 media.  Released SME export market study

·         Developed strategic partnerships with China UnionPay and Chongqing government

·         Launched 3 sites to stimulate Cross Border Trade: PayPal China’s own Business Portal, One Stop Solution (OSS) portal, and Chinese consumer shopping portal

·      Launched PayPal China’s domestic product BeiBao, the company’s highest profile project at the time. Managed a team of 20 PMs writing 40 specs concurrently.  Juggled complex interactions both from the business (BU, Legal/Compliance, Accounting/Treasury/Tax, Customer Service) and technical side (Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Design, Content, QA).  Despite several month delay, still launched on schedule in July 2005.

·      Defined API product strategy based on open standards

Jamcracker was a $140M B2B Internet Startup.  Responsible for product management and marketing for Jamcracker Enterprise 3.0, a web services (SaaS) delivery platform that provided a workspace for single-sign on (SSO), provisioning, support, SLA management, and billing

·      Developed Corporate Roadmap based on company priorities, customer research, and internal feedback from sales and customer support

·      Managed team of 4 PMs responsible for the user interface, reporting, and n-tier syndication

 

Product Manager, IT Marketplace

Managed the internal development of Jamcracker’s e-commerce IT Marketplace with Ariba’s Marketplace product

·      Developed ROI Model and defined requirements for integrating Ariba’s product into the Jamcracker platform.  Saved $1M in potential costs by leading effort to shut-down this project as market conditions deteriorated
